Consultant service: Touriscope has developed summary sheets on the profiles and travel behaviors of customers from the main geographic markets within and outside Quebec, as well as from communities of interest.
CONTEXT
Tourism Eastern Townships (TCE) carries out marketing actions on markets within and outside Quebec. In order to evolve its investment strategy by market by focusing on the product/market/client matrix and to increase its knowledge of its target markets, TCE called on Touriscope.
APPROACH
Using secondary data from the Quebec Ministry of Tourism, Vividata and the Tourism Barometer, Touriscope has developed eight summary sheets presenting the profiles and travel behaviors of customers from the main geographic markets within and outside Quebec, as well as from TCE's communities of interest. More accurate data made it possible to present their behaviors during a stay in the Eastern Townships.
RESULTS
These strategic knowledge tools improve the knowledge of markets and customers in order to take better targeted and more effective marketing actions. Tourism Eastern Townships was thus able to develop greater business intelligence around markets, current and potential customers and the visitor journey (before, during and after the stay). The aim is to translate promotional actions into increases in attendance on the territory and among its members.
