Karine Boudreau
Tourist Light keeper - on internship
Sociable by nature, working in close proximity with customers as well as with a warm and dynamic team attracted me to Touriscope. It was as part of my last master's degree in business administration internship at the University of Moncton that I occupied my position as an assistant scout. It is an opportunity for me to learn complementary to my experience as an entrepreneur in the tourism industry. I am passionate about authentic cultural and culinary experiences, both as a participant and as a hostess.
Building relationships is an important part of my life and living in Shediac, New Brunswick, a small community, makes it easy for me. Moreover, this is why I choose to get involved in community organizations, such as the Beausejour Family Crisis and Resource Center. I also like to participate in as many activities as possible and to volunteer my time. It's super fun to walk around town and get to know lots of people! I hope to bring these abilities and values to my meetings with customers.
I appreciate teamwork and the creativity that comes from it, especially in a context where everyone can bring a unique perspective. The corporate culture at Touriscope is conducive to personal and professional development, which will surely allow me to achieve great things at the beginning of my career.
I take advantage of my free time to travel, spend time outside, and recharge my batteries by visiting friends and family. Campfires, beach outings, shared meals in good company, and board game nights are some of my favorite things to do. But that's not all! I love to start new experiences and take advantage of new opportunities.
