Pedaling to new services

CONTEXT

La Bikery commissioned Touriscope to conduct a feasibility study to explore the introduction of electric bikes into its rental offer, aimed at enriching its services for its members and bike enthusiasts. This initiative is part of a strategic desire to not only strengthen this new offer, but also to create promising partnerships, to increase its presence in the tourism industry, and to amplify its impact within the community.

APPROACH

The process was divided into various stages. First, an analysis of the environment was presented, including:

- Stakeholder analysis

- List of tourism partners

- Partnership strategy

- Customer profiles

- Trend analysis

- Competitive benchmark

Then, development opportunities were identified, including of course the rental of electric bikes. This was prioritized and validated during a co-creation workshop. Finally, the feasibility analysis was presented in three parts: holistic benefits, financial feasibility, global feasibility.

RESULTS

The results of this feasibility study confirmed the potential for the acquisition of electric bikes to enrich its offer. The results show a strong interest on the part of members and visitors in sustainable transport solutions. In addition to meeting growing demand, this project paves the way for strategic partnerships with the tourism industry. This initiative will allow La Bikery to strengthen its mission, promote sustainable mobility, increase its community impact and consolidate its position as a key player in the promotion of cycling.
