Increasing the performance of tourism businesses in Atlantic Canada

CONTEXTE

Camille Derelle Aubut is certified by the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) to complete the Accelerated Market Readiness Program (PPAM). To date, she has supported more than sixty businesses through this program, including Cape Breton Highlands National Park, the Shediac Lobster Festival, the New Brunswick Botanical Garden and many others.

APPROCHE

PPAM takes the form of personalized mentoring and is structured around various stages, ranging from diagnosing the offer, identifying operators' challenges to assessing their degree or capacity to become truly “ready for the market”. Market readiness is about maximizing the delivery of quality, competitive, and profitable experiences to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse customer base.

RESULTS

This business improvement program helps tourism operators to better understand their offer, to offer a distinctive and quality experience, to position themselves against the competition and thus to attract more visitors.
